If you've ever read the Throne of Glass series, this ring is inspired by the ring Chaol gifted Selena from the ball, she described it something like “a simple silver ring with a pear Amethyst around the size of her pinky nail.” She kept it close to her throughout the first book as one of her most prized possessions. It’s the ring of her second love.
The amethyst almost glows in the light, giving it an eerily beautiful aura.
